Our client, an established academic institution is seeking a Research Associate:
Research Associate(1 year contract)
(Singapore - Central)
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with management to identify the assessment methods suitable for further research
- Interview selected faculty members on best practices in the use of different assessment strategies
- Write the findings of the research for dissemination on the department's websites
- Organise seminars to promote suitable assessment strategies to faculty
- Source for suitable question banks and importing them into the assessment system for use in selected courses
- Analyse the result of student's performance at continuous and final assessment
Requirements:
- Degree in Mass Communication or equivalent, preferably with teaching experience at tertiary level
- Ability to collect and analyse data collected
- Excellent writing and communication skills in English
- Knowledge of events management with excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently without supervision and keep datelines
- Some knowledge of assessment methods and the use of technologies to support these methods
