Requirements:MediaConnect is searching for a dynamic and motivated individual to take charge of the media monitoring team.

The role will see you responsible for managing our media monitoring team. The position is very hands on and will require you to be very hands on in the day to day workings of the team.

You will be required to read a range of newspapers and publications from around the region and identify relevant clips and stories for our diverse range of clients.

You will have a team of monitoring people working for you both in Singapore and abroad that you will be required to manage the workflow and accuracy of.

The position will also see you liaising with our clients on a day to day basis.

Our media monitoring business is experiencing rapid growth at the moment, so the successful candidate will have to be able to concentrate on the tasks at hand, while also keeping one eye on the bigger picture of growing, developing and maturing the business opportunities at hand.

• Strong PC skills within a Windows environment
• Ability to lead and motivate a small team
• Proven ability in servicing clients
• An interest in news and reading newspapers
• An interest / understanding of IT a distinct advantage
• An interest / understanding of the Blogging / Social media scene an advantage

Any of the following backgrounds would be advantageous for the candidate:

• PR Consultant
• Media/Journalist
• Research/Analyst

Remuneration will be inline with experience and a minimum of 3 years experience is desired. The package will combine a base pay and performance bonus. Ideally the position is for Singapore citizens and PR’s, however we would consider an outstanding candidate who was considering moving to Singapore.
