Manufacturing Engineer
(Singapore)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing, modifying & maintaining manufacturing line and ensuring the production equipments are able to handle capacity requirements.
• Apply lean methodologies for reducing cost of manufacturing by eliminating non-value added operations and conducting industrial engineering activities such as time studies, layout planning and line balancing
• Initiate, coordinate and lead work groups on projects related to manufacturing operations
• Conduct feasibility studies on capacity improvements, layout optimization and lead capacity expansion projects
• Improvise and deploy suitable mechanization on existing processes through implementation of enhanced design jigs and fixtures
• Provide reports to management on performance of manufacturing operations
• Participate actively in company wide productivity and quality programs such as ACE

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical/ Manufacturing/ Production/ Industrial Engineering with minimum 1-2 years’ relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of lean methodologies is a must and experience in leading value stream mapping event is preferable
• Good interpersonal and communication skills and a good team player
