We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Risk Analyst for our client to join their growing and fast paced business.

Risk Analyst, Group Consumer Bank Risk
(Singapore)

Responsibilities:
In this role, you will provide analytical / statistical support to the Risk Assurance Manager to ensure that Risk Management requirements and standards are met on an ongoing basis and subject to continuous improvement. You will be responsible for the review and validation of application and behavioural scorecards for the Consumer Bank. You will identify issues and opportunities in a timely manner and provide recommendations. You will need to ensure that the models are Basel II compatible and that the scorecards can be implemented within the Bank’s infrastructure. As part of your job scope, you will need to maintain close interaction with the Scorecard Development team and Country Credit team to monitor and review scorecards.

Requirements:
- Have a University Degree with 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Have experience in consumer banking and portfolio management, as well as in formulating credit scorecard strategy and usage
- Have relevant experience in data manipulation and analysis
- Have experience in the build and use of consumer credit models
- Be proficient in SAS programming and be experienced with: DATA step data manipulation with arrays, do-loops, and merges; SAS Macro language, PROC SQL
- Possess strong analytical skills and understanding of quantitative and statistical analysis
- Possess working knowledge of MS Word, MS Powerpoint, advanced Excel, and other database software
- Have experience in developing or monitoring credit scorecards a plus
- Have experience with statistical modelling and analytic techniques such as OLS and logistic regression, univariate and multivariate statistical analysis, CART and / or CHAID a plus
- Have understanding of relational databases
- Have ability to multitask and handle multiple projects
