We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Risk Modelling Analyst for our client to join their growing and fast paced business.

Risk Modelling Analyst
(Singapore)

Responsibilities:
In this role, you are involved in using data mining, data modelling and segmentation to build scoring systems and Basel II credit risk models. You will use SAS to perform standard statistical analysis, modelling, profiling, and reporting, as well as to build predictive models - linear regression, logistic regression. You are required to validate existing credit risk models and construct and produce portfolio level MIS reports across countries and products.

Requirements:
- To have a University Degree in Statistics, Mathematics or other related field (Masters a plus)
- To have at least 1 to 3 years of experience in data manipulation, analysis and/or modelling
- To be proficient in SAS programming skills and strong experience with: DATA step data manipulation with arrays, do-loops, and merges; SAS Macro language, SAS/GRAPH, PROC SQL experience
- To have strong analytical skills and understanding of quantitative and statistical analysis
- To have understanding of relational databases
- To have experience with statistical modelling and analytic techniques such as OLS and logistic regression, univariate and multivariate statistical analysis, CART and/or CHAID
- To have extensive use of MS Word, advanced Excel, and other database software
- To demonstrate analytical thought leadership and problem solving skill
- To be able to multi-task and manage multiple concurrent projects effectively
- Possess solid written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to put together clear, concise ideas and reports
