QC Technicians
(Singapore)
1. QC Technician (Operations Support / Logistics)
Responsibilities
• Ensure that supplies to the laboratories are well stocked and readily available
• Prepare microbiology media, reagents and buffers
• Support equipment maintenance and calibration
• Prepare and issue Certificates of Analysis for QC Lot release
• Assist in validation of LIMS and analytical software
• Some physical work is needed to handle the bulk materials and manipulate the equipment for material preparation.
2. Senior/ QC Technician (Biology / Chemistry / Environmental Monitoring)
Responsibilities
• Successful candidates will be working in the assigned laboratory, handling various types of testing each laboratory is responsible for.
• Record, verify and report test results to support routine, validation and method validation programmes
• Participate in investigations by providing technical know-how and conducting investigational testing
• Maintain housekeeping of laboratory, work area and equipment
• Participate in audits and continuous improvement projects
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
Requirements:
• NITEC / Diploma in Chemical Process Technology / Biotechnology or related discipline with at least 2 years’ relevant experience
• Familiar with assays, sterility testing, endotoxin testing, aseptic techniques and/or manipulations
• Knowledge of cGLP & cGMP would be an advantage
• Good laboratory and report writing skills
