Material Control Executive (Inventory Management)
(Singapore - East)

Responsibilities:

• Sources, maintains and updates a vendor database system with market place information including past experiences of the company using that vendor, pricing, quality and reliability.
• Ensures that all status reports on bid enquiries and purchase orders are submitted promptly and completed accurately.
• Assist in the audit of supplier invoices.
• Places purchasing orders in accordance with the established procedures.
• Follows up with suppliers to ensure meeting the required delivery dates.
• Operates under specific requisitioning procedures.
• Daily photocopying and filing of all documents.
• Assist Finance on accounts payable for any invoicing discrepancies (e.g. raise credit / debit notes request for AP to generate the official documents).

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Primary/Secondary School/"O" Level, Diploma or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Commerce, Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of working experience in the trading or distribution business for electronics components or systems and testing equipment.
• Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent. Job role in Inventory Control or Material Planner.
• 1 Full-Time positions available.
