Microbiologist and Micro Lab Analyst (West / Tuas)

Responsibilities:
- Sample and test all active substances, raw materials (e.g. excipients) and drug products
- Oversee environmental monitoring for microbes
- Generate and enter data into computer system
- Validate and evaluate results
- Perform Operational Qualification and Process Qualification for IQS validation
- Develop and review SOPs
- Conduct training for staff
- Conduct water, environmental testing and Bioburden testing
- Lead a team of analysts and oversee entire running of lab (senior)
Requirements:
- Candidate must poossess Degree in Microbiology, Pharmacy or related discipline
- Diploma in Applied Food Science and Nutrition for lab analyst position
- For Senior Microbiologist, candidate must possess 5 years' relevant experience in Pharmaceutical / Medical Manufacturing
- For Microbiologist, minimum 3 years' relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related fields
- Possess practical knowledge of cGMPs as well as USP/NF/EP methodologies
- A good team player with good interpersonal skill
- Proficient in MS Office application
- Familiar with HACCP is advantageous
- Able to commit on short notice
- Able to commit for minimum 6 months for contract position
- Location: Tuas
- Must be willing to work shifts
