Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower and SkillsFuture Singapore enter partnership with Jobstreet by SEEK to advance Career Health Movement
This partnership marks a significant step in advancing Singapore’s career health movement and includes introducing SEEK Pass, a secure platform for verifying work credentials.
SEEK Pass empowers job seekers to securely verify, store, and share their work credentials, enhancing their visibility and enabling better job matching in Singapore.
SINGAPORE, 11 February 2025 - The Ministry of Manpower (MOM), SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and Jobstreet by SEEK in Singapore are pleased to announce a partnership to advance career health, starting with the launch of SEEK Pass, which enables candidates to securely verify and share their work credentials.
Advancing career health
The Career Health SG initiative seeks to empower workers to achieve their career aspirations and develop resilient and fulfilling careers, as well as enable employers to access a wider pool of talent through skills-first hiring and investments in human capital development. The initiative helps workers and employers to stay competitive, and enjoy greater agility and resilience, which is a key part of the refreshed social compact as articulated in the Forward SG Report. Career health is key in an increasingly competitive labour market, with Jobstreet recording a 146% increase in job applications per ad in 2024 compared to 2023, and amidst disruptions and new opportunities brought about by technological advances.
The Singapore Government seeks to partner players in the labour market ecosystem to advance the Career Health SG initiative. This includes online employment marketplaces that facilitate job matching, such as Jobstreet. Jobstreet seeks to continue to be a leader in innovations that bring greater value to jobseekers and employers on its platform. MOM, SSG and Jobstreet have thus entered a partnership to advance the Career Health SG initiative.
Transforming digital credential verification
The partnership includes introducing SEEK Pass. By providing job seekers with the ability to showcase verified credentials and employers access to trusted, pre-verified information, SEEK Pass aims to position job seekers and employers for success.
SEEK Pass will allow candidates to draw on their Careers & Skills Passport (CSP), which was jointly rolled out by MOM and SSG in November 2024. The CSP contains skills, employment history, education and certifications records from Government sources. As MOM and SSG gather user interactions and feedback, the CSP will be enhanced with more features and more comprehensive data over time. For a start, the integration between SEEK Pass and CSP will cover employment history. More details on CSP will be released by SSG at a later date. Jobstreet will also be partnering Accredify, to further extend SEEK Pass capabilities by enabling the verification of educational qualifications from participating universities. This added feature enhances both the hiring process and job opportunities, allowing candidates to stand out in a competitive market while enabling employers to streamline hiring through trusted, pre-verified information.
First launched by Jobstreet’s parent company, SEEK, in Australia, SEEK Pass achieved notable success with 80% of employers finding pre-verified candidates helpful for faster shortlisting. Now customised for Singapore’s labour market, SEEK Pass incorporates local insights and partnerships.

About Career Health SG
Career Health SG is a national initiative in support of the SkillsFuture movement. It arose from the Forward Singapore conversations in 2023, as a concept to empower Singaporeans to achieve their career aspirations and develop resilient and fulfilling careers.
The initiative seeks to empower Singaporeans to chart long-term career pathways through career coaching and deepening one’s knowledge and skills with insights on growth jobs and industries. With this, Singaporeans can take proactive steps to improve their career outcomes through training, on-the-job learning, and intentional career moves. They can also make the best use of the wide array of Government upskilling and career conversion programmes.
Career Health SG also enables our businesses to widen their access to talent. Through Career Health SG, we will equip businesses to take a skills-first approach to hiring and investing in human capital development. By offering meaningful career progression pathways, businesses will be better positioned to attract and retain talent to drive growth.
Career Health SG is about realising the potential of Singapore's most precious resource – our human capital; and through this, supporting Singapore’s economic and social goals.
Career Health SG is a joint initiative by Ministry of Manpower, Workforce Singapore and SkillsFuture Singapore.
