I’ve been invited to a networking event that could really take my job hunt to the next level, but I’m already feeling the anxiety 😬 I’ve always struggled with walking into a room full of strangers, and the thought of having to make small talk with people I don’t know feels a bit overwhelming. I get that networking is important, but how do you overcome the nervousness and actually make meaningful connections? Any tips on how to survive (and hopefully thrive) at these kinds of events?

As a foreigner, I am still struggling to get a job in Singapore for almost 4 months. I have got many interviews than expected however due to quota limitation, it’s very challenging to get Spass/WP I guess. Is there any job search advice for a foreigner please?? I am an Indian candidate and I have applied to 200+ job offers, but not even a single response. Do employers here actually hire foreign workers, or are international applications being ignored completely? I am ready to relocate, work hard, and adapt — but getting zero replies after hundreds of applications is honestly discouraging. If anyone knows companies that genuinely hire international candidates, please let me know.
