I quit my previous job and regretted it. I thought it was bad, but now I'm in a worse situation. 😢 Again, I found myself in between quitting or staying. I've been trying to give my best since day one, but after 1 year at this new place, I realize I'm just causing more nuisance to my team. At 1st everyone was so helpful, but now nobody speaks to me unless it's work related. and that too, in a cold manner bcz they know I'm not fit for the job. What should I do? Do I keep trying or let go?

Many of us have taken jobs that didn’t turn out the way we hoped. It doesn’t mean you’re a failure. It just means this role might not be the right fit, and that’s okay. If you still see growth and want to push through, give yourself a clear timeline to improve. But if it’s affecting your mental health and the environment feels toxic, it’s okay to walk away. You deserve better! not just work, but support too.

Don't quit just yet! You've only been there for a year, you still have more time to improve yourself. If you ask me, it took me 2 years to get used to my current job bcos of my slow pace. Believe in yourself and your commitment to work - sooner or later you'll get the rhythm. Your team doesn't treat you well? It's fine. Sometimes we have to realize that coworkers are not friends. That's normal for newcomers - they don't see your impact yet. Don't let this make you think you're not capable ok!

Maybe it's not about quitting or staying but about shifting your approach. Have you tried asking for feedback? It can be scary I knowww. but you might get clarity. DON'T ASSUME. Cause it's draining

Umm, this chapter is meant to teach you something important. Whether you stay or go, take time to understand what work energizes you.

It’s not easy. Sometimes we’re just not in the right environment, and that’s okay :)

Honestly, many of us go through that “do I belong?” phase. Sometimes we’re harder on ourselves than we should be..

You said it yourself, you feel like a nuisance. That’s your gut telling you something. Staying longer might just damage your self-esteem even more. Might be better to leave before it gets worse. I'm just telling what I feel 😊

Hello! Do not despair. Not everyone of us get the perfect work environment. Till day I am facing your situation. If the environment does not give you any happiness, please do leave. You may find a better opening with a more likeable environment. All the best to you! :)
