I managed to find remote job here, on Jobstreet. But sadly, no medical, dental, optical, no allowance, not even free coffee (if I had an office 😩). Just the salary, that’s it. Their excuse? “It’s a remote role, so we don’t provide those benefits.” Is this normal for remote jobs, or is the company just being stingy. I do love the flexibility, but without benefits, is it even worth to accept it?

I love working remotely just that lately i kinda facing a weird issue, I forgot to "leave work." Since my laptop is always nearby, I often checking emails at odd hours or tweaking projects late at night. There’s no clear “end of the workday,” so work just bleeds into everything. Even when I try to relax, my brain is still in work mode. I know I should set boundaries, How do you mentally clock out when your office is basically your home?

Used to think remote work was the dream. no traffic, no office politics, just pure focus. But now, I’m starting to feel the downside. I barely talk to anyone outside of work calls, and even then, it’s just straight to business. When I’m out in public, I struggle to strike up simple conversations. I used to be able to chat casually, but now, I just keep quiet because I feel awkward. Am I just overthinking, or is this a real side effect of remote work? How do you get back to being socially normal?
