Guys, just curious! What is the average salary and savings for those between 23-30 years old? 😊 I'm 25, in marketing, earning $3.2K with $2k in savings. Feels like I'm behind. Also, what’s 'high' savings for you? Anyone doing better and got tips? 🙏

26yr old on my 2nd job. Making $5.5k with savings of $5k. I rarely spend and always on budget so I get to save up. Still working on increasing my savings but it'll take a bit of effort to get a higher salary due to being stuck on contract jobs.

I dont mean to brag, but since somebody asking to share this: I’m 27 & make about 60k/yr, I have about 31.4k in savings (saving since 17y/o). I would say the average probably makes less because most 23 year olds are still in college. But at this point, everyone is different lah. I know some who make 250k, I know some 23 y/o that make 20k. It mostly has to do with luck, with career choices, edu. choices, where you live in the world, etc. So you shouldn't feel left behind, just do you 👍🏻

No matter how big or small your salary, is always never too late for you to start savings. I’m hitting 30 next month and I managed to save 9K, first time with an actual savings. Now trying to really get my life together. Tbh I feel like such a loser around my friends and family. I don’t see anyone either because I feel insecure with my life 🥲 this is where it hits me and I wanted to make a change. If I can do it, you sure can do it too 💪🏻 believe in yourself!

I'm 26 turning 27 in couple months. I make about 45K+ per year. Considering my age, i should’ve start save about 25 percent of my salary. But still can’t afford to save money when I live paycheck to paycheck. Mostly i used it all for daily expenses, car loans, house rent, etc.

Been there tooo, felt like so lost behind among your friends right? Normal la but, maybe you try to invest those savings, so it'll keep growing. BUT! be sure to learn and do some research first about the investment before you invest with those money. It's a risk. All the besttt!

Most 23-26 are still in Uni, I don't think they have money saved in the bank. Unless, the parents did save for them since young. You're only 25, once you gain more experience in work sure you will get a raise and probably if you constantly doing your savings. You will achieve more in the future. Like me, by the age of 35, I aim to earn more than $8K and have sufficient savings for me to use for me and family if I get married. Tips? I guess you just have to trust the process. That's it lah

Earning below $3.2K and have to save some more… I might also feel left behind sia 😓 As someone from a lower-class family and just got into a new job (making 3.5K monthly), I still don’t have any savings right now. I had to clear my debt first, help my brother for college, and also send money to my retire parents. Ngl, being a firstborn you have to sacrifice a lot.

I share my story too here ~ back then when i was 26, i had just started grad uni and also had about SGD3,000 savings. But i spent it all in the first year 🙃 Now im 30 and have like 15K give or take. Fortunately 10k of that total was given to me from a settlement. But everyone moves at their own pace!

Aiyooohh it's not about who's got higher saving or lower saving leh for me. As long as you have savings and money to use when it's emergency then okay liao la.

I’m 31 and only have 8K in savings~ I know, I should have more savings by now, but couldn’t ‘cause had to pay a lot. I make about $9K per month (after tax) + I rent alone and the price is 2K (excluding bills) with cc debts & car loans too.. not really a lot to save anyway after expenses and can’t resist going to nice places for comfort food. This happens when you earn more money and choose to live your life luxurious 🥲
