Should we reveal our current salary to companies and recruiters? While I know that it’s not mandatory but what if the recruiter keep asking despite me avoiding to disclose it. What are some of the advices so that i wont get lowball? Should i disclose my salary PA (inclusive of bonuses as my bonus are pretty high as compared to my base salary) 😭

Instead you disclose your salary, can give them a range. They'll understand. Most likely they already knew the budget from the hirers. So when they ask your pay, you can ask their budget (they confirm lowball it around 500-1000 range lower). If you okay with their budget, then just state the amount you are expecting. If they don't reveal to you, the same theory applies to you not revealing your salary as well ;) TLDR, not necessary to disclose, instead ask for their hiring budget too.

If you've a choice, don't reveal. If they keep pushing, tell them your salary is current + 15-30% on top of it, best case scenario they offer you 10-20% on top of that so you get 40-50% increment. If they ask you for payslip, just say you signed NDA and cannot disclose. If the recruiter keeps on pushing after that, the company is a red flag knowingly violate the law 😃

Usually I do as they usually ask for it. But if given the option, I would definitely prefer to be kept as secret.

Ugh feeel you 😭 been there! Some recruiters can be super persistent. But maybe you can say, “I’d prefer to focus on my expected salary for this role” and then give a justified range. If you do share, include your total comp (base + bonus), so they don’t lowball you.

Unfortunately we are in Singapore. Disclose salary is a thing I believe, so yah, give if you wanna be considered if they ask. No ask then no give :) simple

Honestly, you don’t have to disclose if you’re uncomfortable :\

If you're okay and comfortable to reveal, just share with them. But make sure you still stick to your asking salary. Expected salary is one thing, for sure they'll ask, the supporting detail and justification is important.. in a way to convince them why they should agree to pay you this kind of amount.
