Introverts rock meetings too! Don't let social anxieties hold you back. Here's how to shine: 🥷 Be the observant ninja: Master the art of listening & noticing details. 🤐 Share, don't dominate: Contribute thoughtful questions & well-prepared insights. 👥 Find your tribe: Seek out smaller groups or one-on-one conversations. 🔋 Recharge & refuel: Socializing can be draining. Schedule breaks, prioritize alone time, & do what energizes you. Any other tips from fellow introverts?

Yeah, usually when individuals have introverted personalities, they tend to be more observant. That's what I like about working with them. Their attention to detail skills is very good, which is something I might need to improve on as well. It's definitely an interesting advantage.

I understand that it can be tough to bring yourself up like how those extroverts do naturally. That's fine. You don't have to act or be like them. What's most important is that you show up at your work/meeting and do your work/contribution. Eventually, you will be doing just fine :)

This is what my fellow introvert friends do during meetings. When I asked them why they are usually quiet during calls, they said they jot down their thoughts and ideas. Then I asked why? They said it can help ease the pressure during discussions. When they jot down something, it's like they have something valuable to contribute later. Basically, they don't just purposefully stay quiet, though; they actually find other ways to contribute to the meeting.

What can I say, being an introvert doesn't mean hating to talk to people or having no social skills. It means you draw your energy from time alone. I've met many introverted people who excel well in their jobs. Some prefer to show their social skills during big events. Even they actually find networking at a conference easier than normal networking. They said if you make a bad impression, you're not likely to see those people as often as meeting your colleagues or bosses in the office.
