Here goes nothing! Currently at SGD4.8K
IT industry
Just started this new job 5 months ago and slowly started saving, was previously in a company with 3.5K salaries for almost 2 years, I was the lucky ones that managed to secure a great offer. My advice for all working adults is that never settle, don’t hide behind your comfort zone and be hungry to aim higher every day. Some of you may felt it’s in vain but in due time your hard work will paid off.

Saw similar post like this a few months back on another platform. Love to see the transparency continuing! I’ll join in too.
Salary: 5K+ (with guaranteed yearly increments)
Media industry
Challenges: It’s not just personal, but as a team. Need to satisfy clients' demands. And, sometimes their feedback cuts sharper than a knife! Gotta have strong mentality
I studied science (don’t ask why I’m working in media lol)
my advice, make sure what you’re doing makes you happy. that’s what matters most!

Love this! Sometimes it feels like our salary is decent, but turns out it’s still far off when we compare. Maybe you could share tips on how to negotiate with confidence too

Purpose of sharing:
🤜Let’s challenge the salary status quo!
🫵Once you know where you stand, then only you know how far you can go, right?
🥰Remember, your value ≠ your salary. You're worth so much more!
🌅Share some tips & lessons, show others direction on the right path. Especially the newbies. They REALLY need your help!
🍮 Whether you’re earning a lot or nah, that’s not the main point. This space is for compassion and understanding, ok!

Alright here it goes! I’m in finance, pulling SGD5.5k monthly with 1.5 years' experience. It’s a decent rate, but not without its challenges (tight schedules and endless reports!). To all fresh grads: if your goal is seeking desired salary... focus on upskilling. which you may contribute more to the company.

This is good i think! I mean if you feel your salary’s still low, at least you know there’s room to push it up. Cant wait to see everyonr’s journey and stories 😄
