Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement strategies for sourcing equipment and supplies, ensuring alignment with project budgets, technical requirements, and timelines while mitigating risks.
  • Supplier Management: Identify, vet, and manage tier-1 global suppliers and EPC contractors, focusing on quality, regulatory standards, and a strong China supply chain for solar projects.
  • Tender Process: Lead bidding, evaluation, and selection processes, and negotiate favorable pricing and terms to achieve optimal Time, Quality, and Cost (TQC) outcomes.
  • Contract Management: Draft, review, and finalize contracts in collaboration with legal and project teams, ensuring risk mitigation and project protection.
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively manage risks related to supplier performance, delivery delays, cost overruns, and supply chain disruptions.
  • Project Collaboration: Support project teams throughout procurement and execution phases.

 

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain; advanced certifications (e.g., CPSM, PMP) preferred.
  • Experience: 10+ years in procurement for large-scale renewable energy or infrastructure projects, with expertise in end-to-end processes and international sourcing. 
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, leadership, and contract management abilities, with excellent business acumen and risk management capabilities.
  • Personal Attributes: Hands-on, results-driven, adaptable, and team-oriented, with a growth mindset.
