M&E Project Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage site projects from conception to completion.
- To assist the project manager in overseeing and project coordination, planning, scheduling as well as site supervision.
- To attend weekly coordination meetings with the team to report work progress and discussion if any.
- Review project plans, specifications and drawings to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
- To coordinate with the sub-contractors and supervisors in meeting the approved drawings, design requirements etc.
- Manage & supervise a mix of M&E, ELV, and Civil works etc.
- Manage site technicians and IT personnels to ensure that project timelines, milestones, and deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered to the highest quality standards and meet client expectations.
- Identify and manage project risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders on project matters, ensuring effective communication
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, status updates, and presentations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes of practice, and health and safety guidelines.
- Mentor and motivate project team members, fostering a positive team environment.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Engineering or related field
- 6 to 8 years of proven work experience as a Project Engineer or similar role in Mechanical & Engineering industry.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Able to adapt in fast work paced environment.
