Job Description
As an intern with the Digital Experience team, you will be involved in the ideation, design and implementation of new enhancements for the Ascott Star Rewards mobile app. You will also get to experience product management first-hand.
Responsibilities
- Conducting market research to identify gaps in our mobile app and discover trends in similar competitor apps
- Provide feedback for improvements and contribute to continuous improvement of mobile features.
- Creating documentations to record important discussions and outcomes, user requirements and other meetings
- Assist in preparation of user requirements for new system enhancements
- Assist in user testing for new enhancements, fixes and optimizations in various platforms (IOS, Android).
- Conduct debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to ensure high-quality mobile app
- Improve process flow chart and sequence diagram to encapsulate understanding of app to various system processes
- Support in other special and/or ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- Preferred studies in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or any other related disciplines
- Passionate in project management or have experience doing so in school projects
- Experience in using content management tools for website management is an advantage
- Possess the ability to multi-task and have good collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across teams and partner with business stakeholders
