Deputy Manager (Cybersecurity & Compliance)

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the implementation and maintenance of robust cybersecurity measures to protect the organisation's critical systems and data
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards through the development and enforcement of policies and procedures
  • Conducting risk assessments and implementing appropriate controls to mitigate identified threats
  • Monitoring and responding to security incidents, implementing remediation strategies as required
  • Providing guidance and training to employees on cybersecurity best practices
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate security and compliance into business processes
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest security threats, technologies and industry developments

 

Requirements: 

  • 3 years of experience in a cybersecurity or compliance role, ideally within the Information & Communication Technology industry
  • Thorough understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards and best practices (e.g. NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR)
  • Strong technical skills in areas such as threat analysis, risk management, and security architecture
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making abilities
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Security, Computer Science or a related field
  • Industry certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CRISC) highly regarded
