Control Room Operator
Position Purpose
The principal objective of the Control Room Operator is to use the CCTV system to efficiently manage incidents and anticipate threats by utilising both live and recorded camera footage.

Key Responsibilities
- Complete all computerised logs and incident reports, ensuring that all relevant information isrelayed to the appropriate persons
- Conduct regular preset and manual patrols of the monitored area
- Identify and prevent illegal and/or inappropriate behaviour, which has thepotential to alarm or heighten the risk to members of the general public
- Promptly report all possible unlawful and anti-social matters to Queensland Police

- To assist council and Police with the management of emergency situations asrequired
- To control access to site
- To monitor council and security two-way radios
Qualification
- Current Security Licence + Monitoring Subclass
- Certificate II Security Operations
- Gallagher Systems Administrator Certification (desirable)
- Microsoft Office training (desirable)
Skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Superior communication skills both written and verbal
- Basic computer literacy skills
Knowledge
Experience
- Previous CCTV monitoring experience will be highly regarded
- Ability and experience writing detailed incident reports
- Experience using access control systems (Gallagher will be highly regarded/advantageous)
- Experience using CCTV software (Genetec will be highly regarded/advantageous)
- Experience working in corporate environment
- Experience working in a team environment
