Responsibilities:
- Develops, build and strategically manages business relationship with potential clients within the territory for the purposes of generating sales and business development.
- Identifies, evaluate and manage business opportunities/leads in securing sales pipeline in line with short and long-term financial goals.
- Maintains and increases the revenue and gross profit of each key account, ensuring they remain profitable in line with the annual revenue/profit targets.
- Acts as the primary source of information for the company regarding client’s expectations, needs and challenges, market and price developments, competitive activities and identification of opportunities and threats.
- Initiates business cases and plans for chosen accounts and carries out detailed analysis (net sales, gross & net profit margins) for decision making.
- Assists in the development of product/service vision, strategy, roadmap and execution plan.
- Conducts cold calls and sales pitches to potential clients.
- Manages the negotiation process. Prepares contracts, providing input on pricing and contract terms. Identifies upselling opportunities and manage contract renegotiations with existing clients.
- Manages the improvement of current business development/sales processes and cross-functional collaboration to drive efficiency.
- Performs competitive analysis and collates market benchmark data to determine client needs and price structures.
- Gathers and analyze data from available resources to enhance service positioning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Economy or its equivalent.
- 4-5 years of relevant working experience in a corporate sales or similar capacity.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of proficiency in verbal and written English including presentation skills.
- Good analytical skills, hungry for sales, result oriented, organized, detailed and committed to deadlines.
- Innovative, resourceful and a team player with the ability to work independently in a dynamic & fast paced environment.
- Computer literate with knowledge in MS Office applications.
- Willing to travel across Peninsular Malaysia and willing to do cold calls.
