Hemodialysis Manager -Administrative Operations

Summary

The Dialysis Manager – Administrative Operations oversees the administrative functions of a dialysis center in Malaysia, ensuring compliance with local regulations and smooth operations. This role focuses on accounting, tax planning, licensing, and human resources management. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, financial, and leadership skills, with a deep understanding of Malaysian healthcare administration, taxation, and labor laws.

 

Key responsibilities:

1. Accounting and Financial Management:

- Manage the center’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting in line with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS).

- Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and revenue to maintain financial stability.

- Prepare financial statements and collaborate with external auditors for annual audits and tax filings with LHDN.

2. Tax Planning and Compliance:

- Develop tax strategies to optimize the center’s financial position under Malaysian tax laws.

- Ensure compliance with the Income Tax Act 1967, GST, and other tax regulations.

- Stay updated on changes in Malaysian tax laws and healthcare regulations.

- Prepare and submit tax returns (e.g., Form C) and required documentation to LHDN.

3. Regulatory Compliance

- Ensure the center maintains all necessary licenses and certifications from the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) and other regulatory bodies.

- Comply with healthcare regulations, including the Private Healthcare Facilities and Services Act 1998 (PHFSA), OSHA, and PDPA.

- Maintain accurate records for audits and inspections by MOH and other authorities.

- Liaise with regulatory bodies to address compliance issues.

4. Human Resource Management

- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training of staff in compliance with Malaysian labor laws.

- Manage employee relations, including performance evaluations and conflict resolution.

- Administer payroll, benefits (e.g., EPF, SOCSO, EIS), and leave policies under the Employment Act 1955.

- Develop HR policies and ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws.

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Accounting, or a related field.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare administration in Malaysia, with a focus on accounting, HR, and compliance.

- Strong knowledge of Malaysian healthcare regulations, tax laws, and financial management.

- Proficiency in accounting and HR software (e.g., QuickBooks, Auto-count, Infotech).

- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
