Quote Specialist

Roles And Responsibilities:

1.1 General

-Develop pricing methodologies, matrix and cost analysis for every new project kick off. 

-Review drawings and quote package, identify BOM make/buy logic, assigned items commodity and launch RFQ package to SCM team.

-Coordinate and manage RFQ activity per assigned project through liaising with various department (Sales, SCM, Engineering, R&D, Quality, NPI, Logistic/Shipping).

-Calculate the possible value of the cost components (material, processing, manpower) of each part of the new products BOM, at the various stages of product development.

-Perform cost analysis on quotes from suppliers to ensure competitive price and quote accuracy.

-Prepare quote/cost summary for team review prior to submission.

-Conduct cost analyses of the Bill of Material (BOM) to identify cost-saving opportunities.

-Work independently and apply work knowledge in dealing with various issues from within the team

-Ensure required cost proposals and supporting documents are prepared timely, accurately and are in compliance with solicitation.

-To carry out any other duties as required/delegated to you from your superior or the Management from time to time.

Requirements:

-Minimum Degree or Diploma

-At least 1 years of experience within a Costing or Procurement Engineering role, ideally within the Electronics and Manufacturing industry.

-You are a self-starter and demonstrate a high level of resilience

-You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data

-Experience in reading technical drawing and secondary process
