We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Security & Safety Executive to join our team. Your responsibilities will include supervising security operations, managing contractors, and maintaining compliance with all safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, contractors and staffs to address their security and safety concerns.
- Supervise security guards to ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions are followed.
- Conduct weekly/monthly meetings with the outsourced security company to address day-to-day issues and handle complaints.
- Investigate and report incidents and occurrences within the property to the Manager.
- Provide recommendations to enhance security systems and protocols where necessary.
- Oversee contractors performing renovation work to ensure adherence to operational and safety standards.
- Ensure all work by security guards and contractors complies with By-Laws, industry standards, and safety requirements.
- Prepare monthly security guard duty rosters to ensure sufficient workforce coverage.
- Respond promptly to any emergency or urgent matters, both during and after working hours.
- Assist the Manager with issuing work permits to on-site contractors, ensuring all necessary approvals and insurances are in place before any work begins.
- Liaise with enforcement authorities (e.g., police, fire department, JKKP) for any security, safety, or environmental matters.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly security and safety reports.
- Maintain and compile building layout plans, M&E equipment plans, and building drawings.
- Assist the Manager in preparing tender documents and coordinating tender processes, including issuing invitations for quotations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in security and safety management.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
- Knowledge of building safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Experience in working with contractors and managing external service providers.
- Strong organizational and report-writing skills.
