Job Title: Inventory Controller

Salary Range: $3000 - $3500

Work Location: Tuas

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Controller to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating with multiple departments, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our organization. If you possess a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a drive for process improvement, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Maintain precise inventory records of raw materials, spare parts and tools through regular cycle counts and reconciliation of discrepancies.
  • Data Entry & Reporting: Update inventory databases accurately and prepare comprehensive reports on inventory status and trends.
  • Quality Control: Oversee the inspection of incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams to facilitate inventory movements and address issues promptly.
  • Process Improvement: Identify, recommend, and implement improvements to inventory control procedures and systems.
  • Documentation: Keep detailed and organized records of all inventory transactions and adjustments.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties & responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Experience: Previous experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a similar role is required. Experience in Accounts Asst role also accepted.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on accuracy and precision.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to work effectively across teams. Able to read and write in Chinese to communicate with Chinese associates.
  • Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to work in Tuas, company transport provided.
  • Working Hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm
  • Willing to work rotating weekend and public holiday shifts. Work hours more than 44hours/week able to claim off-in-lieu during weekdays.
  • Able to start work immediately is an advantage.
