About the team / role
The Travel & Expense Specialist will play an important role in supporting the Worldpay corporate card program by responding to employee inquiries related to expense process and policies via email, instant message, and/or phone calls while providing superior customer service as well as other various responsibilities and initiatives.
The role will work closely with cross functional teams to ensure that processes are up to Global AP standards.
What you'll do
- Respond to cardholder inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide guidance on policy and procedures.
- Monitor outstanding expenses and work with employees to process reports timely.
- Process corporate card applications.
- Develop a deep understanding of the T&E tools, policies, and processes to know the impact on other systems, tools, and workflows.
- Assist in the development key metrics to drive success of the program.
- Analyze expense data to identify trends and outliers.
- Collaborate with other T&E team members and affected parties to ensure concerns and outstanding issues are prompted resolved and addressed.
- Participate in various ad-hoc projects
- Other related duties as assigned.
What you bring
- Degree in a related field (Accounting, Business Administration, etc.) or equivalent professional experience.
- Knowledge of corporate card administration and T&E report processing.
- Knowledge of finance ERP systems and reporting tools (Oracle Expense, Excel).
- Excellent skills in communicating ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner, with all levels, including presentations.
- Customer-oriented approach and mindset.
- Ability to utilize judgment in decision making process related to job tasks.
- Skill in productivity, planning, and workload management.
- Ability to document processes and implement process improvements.
