Studio Co-Ordinator / Operations Associate

We are a premium jewellery and lifestyle brand looking for a motivated Studio Co-Ordinator / Operations Associate to join our team. 

You will be an integral part of the Forbidden Hill team, working across many aspects of the company from internal operations to customer-facing events.

Our studio is located on the second level of a shophouse in the vibrant neighbourhood of Bukit Pasoh Rd / Keong Saik Rd. 

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting quality control of jewellery and lacquerware items
  • Packaging products and preparing orders for retail and wholesale customers
  • Handling simple production tasks  
  • Keeping the studio organised and tidy, including production equipment and product storage areas
  • Handling admin duties such as sorting, filing, scheduling couriers, etc.
  • Assisting with stock checks at retailers
  • Serving customers visiting the showroom and responding to online enquiries 
  • Helping to set up and serve customers at pop-up stores from time to time
  • Ensuring the upkeep and tidiness of the showroom, ensuring that selling stock is ready at all times, and maintaining the display items at their best
  • Performing any ad-hoc duties or responsibilities as assigned by the management team
  • (Training will be provided on all tasks)

 

Your working schedule is open for discussion 

  • Normal working hours are 9.30am - 6.30pm, Mon to Fri in the studio. Flexible working hours can be explored with the right candidate. 
  • The role will include occasional weekend work for pop-up stores (with time off in lieu of weekend work)

 

For this role, we are looking for candidates with:

  • At least Secondary School education
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Good command of written English and verbal communication skills
  • Keen sense of detail and a good eye for quality control checking
  • Interest in design or handicrafts is an advantage
  • Experience in retail, jewellery or fashion is an advantage

  • Self-driven and hold a positive learning attitude
  • Good team player and willing to be hands-on in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Comfortable with dealing with customers
