IT Infra Manager (Infra/system, East, Retail MNC)

Summary

  • Perm role comes with comprehensive benefits (Annual leave, VB (twice a year), medical benefits, etc
  • Working days & hours: Monday to Friday 830am-530pm
  • For Manager - In charge of a team of 3 pax
  • Reporting to IT Director
  • A hands-on role requiring 5–6 years of experience in a similar position, with extensive technical expertise in managing on-premise and cloud platforms (preferably in the retail industry) and all aspects of IT management and emerging technology trends

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and guide the Infra Team in alignment with our mission and values to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with other departments to address infrastructure requirements.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for IT projects to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Supervise the deployment of retail roadshows, ensuring their efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Cultivate and maintain partnerships with IT vendors to fulfill our infrastructure needs.
  • Administer Active Directory accounts, GPO, DNS/DHCP, and Microsoft Office 365...
  • Oversee servers (Hyper-V) in tasks such as creation, upgrading, and migration, particularly for Dell/HP brands.
  • Handle data backup procedures using Veeam and the Cloud Solution.
  • Utilize Dell AppSync for database backup and restoration.
  • Exhibit expertise in firewall rules and configuration, including Cisco FirePower and FortiGate.
  • Possess knowledge of Dell SAN Storage solutions like VNX, XtremIO, and PowerStore for data storage.
  • Utilize security tools such as Network Box and Kroll SentinalOne.
  • Employ IT management tools, including MECM, GFI Event Manager, AD ManagerPlus, Freshdesk Helpdesk, and Cisco ISE.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Azure AD Connect and AWS instance creation.
  • Configure network equipment, including FortiGate/FirePower Firewalls.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of IT Infrastructure relevant working experience is required. Retail industry experienced is preferred.
  • Good knowledge in networking and infrastructure
  • Good technical knowledge in domain (networking and infrastructure)
  • Strong understanding on data centre architecture and infrastructure
  • Experience in project management and vendor management

Skills set: 

  • Windows Operating Systems: Windows Active Directory domain structure, Distributed File System
  • Server & Client Deployment and Management: Including server virtualization
  • Local Area Network (LAN) Configuration
  • SQL Database: Installation and support
  • Wide Area Network (WAN) Management: Experience with MPLS, Peplink & link
  • Router & Switch Configuration: Knowledge of CISCO & Meraki is advantageous
  • Wi-Fi Networking: Design and deployment
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Experience with AWS & Azure
  • Office 365 Administration
  • DELL/EMC Storage: XtremeIO & VNX
  • Data Backup Management: Knowledge of HyperV replica, VHD, ShadowProtect, Storsimple & SQL DB is an advantage
  • Disaster Recovery Planning
  • PABX/IP Telephony Systems
  • VPN Configuration
  • Security & Firewall Management
  • IT Budget Preparation
  • Vendor Management
