Senior/Research Officer (Quality Assurance Branch) – Contract

[What the role is]
You will work in Environmental Health Institute, and be a member in Vector Biology & Control Division.

[What you will be working on]

You will be part of a dynamic team that gathers deep insights and ensures quality assurance in Project Wolbachia – Singapore. You will be involved in various analytical and entomological activities including, but not limited to, data cleaning and management, statistical analysis, conducting biological assays and experiments, developing or/and evaluating quality assessment of Wolbachia-Aedes strains, and report preparation of situational awareness. You will also be operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.

[What we are looking for]

Requirements:

• Experience in life science or data analytics background will have an advantage. Candidates of non-relevant background are welcome to apply.
• Proficiency in computer literacy with a good grasp of Microsoft Excel and/or GIS tools.
• Inclination to appreciate technical data sets and records management.
• Able to work independently and as a team in dynamic settings.
• Able to systematically perform routine work processes and have an eye for details.
• Self-motivated learners in exploring and adopting new concepts and techniques.
• Willing to work after office hours and/or weekends when necessary.
