Senior Partnerships Sales Manager We are looking for a driven, entrepreneurial Senior Partnerships Sales Manager to join our expanding global Partnerships team, supporting Sokin's next stage of international growth. As our first hire in Singapore, you will play a pivotal role in growing Sokin's footprint in the region by establishing and taking ownership of strategic partnerships with enterprise level clients for cross boarder payments that will drive sales and revenue for the business.

Sokin has a rapidly increasing client base spanning industries such as sports & entertainment, logistics, travel, and more. As we continue to expand, we are looking to add exceptional talent to our team to help us achieve our ambitious goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Partnership Development

  • Identify and evaluate new partnership opportunities that align with Sokin's strategic goals in Singapore and the wider ASEAN region.
  • Negotiate and finalise partnership agreements that foster long-term value creation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and execution of partnerships.
2. Relationship Management
  • Maintain and nurture existing partnerships, ensuring mutual benefits and strategic objectives are met.
  • Develop strategies to enhance partner engagement, satisfaction, and activation (client referral).
  • Act as a primary point of contact for partners, addressing any challenges and identifying areas for improvement.
3. Sector Focus
  • Leverage existing experience and an established network to target enterprise level organisations with requirements for FX & Cross Boarder transaction support.
Requirements

About the Role:

  • Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in business development within the remittance, ecommerce, or financial services industry, with a proven track record of achieving business objectives.
  • Demonstrated success in establishing and managing strategic partnerships with enterprise level clients.
  • Strong understanding of cross boarder payments and ecommerce market dynamics, regulatory compliance (including MAS regulations), and industry trends.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, analyze market trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Previous experience working in a FinTech/Start-Up environment in Payments/Remittance/Ecommerce within a business development, sales, or partnerships role is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong passion for the remittance and ecommerce industry, with a keen interest in emerging technologies and digital innovations.
  • Proven ability to identify and generate new business opportunities, resulting in increased revenue and growth.
