Risk Management Executive

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Risk Management Executive to join our team. This role is critical in supporting the implementation and maintenance of our risk management policies and frameworks across the Group. As a Risk Management Executive, you will work closely with risk owners, ensure timely updates to risk documentation, and contribute to fostering a risk-aware culture within the organization. This role offers the opportunity to engage with senior stakeholders and make a meaningful impact on the organization’s risk management strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the deployment of the Group’s Risk Management Policy and framework across various business units and corporate functions to ensure alignment with company standards.
• Regularly engage with risk owners to review and update the risk register, ensuring risks are accurately recorded and managed across the organization.
• Ensure risk management documents, including the risk register and monthly reports, are updated and submitted promptly.
• Follow up on mitigation action plans for significant or high risks, and periodically test the effectiveness of controls to ensure risk is managed proactively.
• Conduct training sessions and briefings to promote risk awareness and embed a strong risk culture among employees.
• Prepare and participate in presentations for Group Risk Management updates to senior stakeholders, including the Risk Management Committee, to keep them informed of key risk-related activities.
• Assist in the creation and enhancement of policies and procedures to strengthen risk management practices throughout the Group.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Group’s ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) risk framework and business continuity policies.
• Analyze existing insurance coverage to identify gaps and provide recommendations to supervisors, ensuring optimal protection for the organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or Related Field. Professional qualifications of a recognised accounting body is an added advantage.  
• Familiarity with risk management practices and frameworks, with experience in conducting risk assessments or audits preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify risks and recommend solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with various stakeholders and conduct training.
• Knowledge of ESG risks and business continuity planning is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
