Product/ Process Engineer

Summary Description

1. We are looking for an experience Product/ Process engineer who is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the transfer of manufacturing processes from China site to Penang site. This role is to ensures seamless transition, process optimization and compliance with quality standards.  Hence, the candidates must well expertise in process engineering, project management and cross-functional collaboration. 
2. The candidates will have chance to travel abroad for extended period of training. 

Specific Duties And Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage the end-to-end process of transferring product lines, including planning, execution, and validation.
2. Collaborate with global teams to ensure alignment on technical specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
3. Identify product / process improvement opportunity on current product ranges and initiates improvement projects to enhance manufacture-ability of the product.
4. Deploy six sigma methodologies and coordinate six sigma projects to enhance process capability, yield, productivity, and product quality to exceed customers’ expectation.
5. Provide technical expertise to support equipment installation, troubleshooting, and process validation activities.
6. Create and maintain up to date documentation for process FMEA, process control plan, work instructions, and related documents to ensure smooth manufacturing processes. 
7. Train operations and quality teams on new processes and equipment to ensure a smooth transition.
8. Establishing and maintaining procedures consistent with certification of QMS, EMS, and OSH Management Systems/ Standards.           
9. Performs work assigned from time to time. 
    

Position Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least Degree in any engineering field with minimum 3 years working experience in electronic/engineering related industry. 
• Knowledge in capacitor manufacturing is preferable.
• Experience in manufacturing environment on process improvement and ability to make technical judgment and recommendation.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
