Airfreight Ops Executive (East, Forwarder MNC, 5 days, Office hrs)

• Located at Changi
• Perm role with comprehensive benefits - AWS, Variable bonus, 15 Days Annual leave (starting), medical benefits
• Working days & hours: Monday to Friday

Job Responsibilities

• Air import & export shipments coordination;
• Ensure correct and accurate import/export document process including MAWB, HAWB, cargo manifest etc;
• Verify cargo details such as weighing slip, commercial invoice & packing list before processing documents; DG cargo declaration and liaise with 3rd party for DG packaging in accordance to DG regulations and check list (DGR);
• Permit declaration for both import and export air shipments;
• Booking of air shipment and pick up (trucking) arrangement;
• Ensure air export cargoes are lodged in a timely;
• Booking with airlines, the closing of MAWB till cargo is lodged in & accepted by the Terminal.
• Send pre-alert to customer; Sorting, distributing of documents including the filing of MAWB and HAWB to prevent any backlog in the admin process;
• Adherence to all customer's specific SOPs and relevant standard procedures;

Job Requirements

• Min “O" / Diploma holder with 3-5 years of relevant experience / Experience in handling air freight shipment
• Experienced in freight forwarding & Air freight will be an advantage
• Being familiar in SAP will be an advantage but is not a must.
• Good team player with the ability to work independently
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel and power point)
