ASEAN Payroll Manager

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end payroll process for multiple regions, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing for all employees.
- Ensure compliance with local payroll laws and regulations, including tax withholding, wage and hour laws, and reporting requirements.
- Lead and mentor a team of payroll specialists, providing training and support to enhance their skills and performance.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in payroll operations.
- Generate and analyze payroll reports, including labor costs, payroll tax liabilities, and other key metrics to inform management decisions.
- Work closely with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll with employee records and benefits administration.
- Oversee payroll systems and software, ensuring they are updated and functioning correctly; participate in system upgrades and enhancements.
- Address payroll-related inquiries from employees and provide exceptional customer service to resolve issues promptly
Requirement
- Bachelor in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field with Minimum of 5 years of payroll management experience, with at least 2 years in a regional capacity.
- Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices; experience with payroll software and technology.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with HRIS systems and integration with payroll software.
- Must have knowledge of international payroll regulations (ASEAN region).
- Ability to lead change management processes
