Aircraft Powerplant Sr. Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

• Laise with subsidiaries airlines maintenance team to manage Engine performance & maintenance
• Laise with subsidiaries airlines maintenance team to do troubleshooting & failure analysis
• Evaluate and implement engine SBs, ADs, and modifications to enhance fuel efficiency and performance.
• Support engine upgrade projects with OEMs
• Laise with subsidiaries airlines maintenance team to ensure regulatory compliance & documentation
• Laise with subsidiaries airlines maintenance team to engine shop visits & overhaul management
• Technical support on engine acquisition and leases
• Technical support & collaboration

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft powerplant engineering, preferably on Boeing 737 NG/Classic and Airbus A320/A330
• Strong knowledge of CFM56, CFM56-7B, CFM56-5B, and V2500 engine systems
• Familiarity with engine health monitoring (EHM) tools and failure analysis methodologies
• Understanding of aviation regulations (FAA, EASA, ICAO, or local CAAs)
• Experience with engine overhauls, shop visits, and MRO coordination
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Powerplant-related certifications (e.g., CFM56 Engine Run & Taxi, V2500 Maintenance Training).
• Experience using aircraft maintenance and engine performance software (e.g., AIRMAN, CAMP, EngineWise, Trend Monitoring Systems).
• Background in fuel efficiency optimization and performance engineering.
