As a Detail Inspector, you’ll inspect and identify defects on gas turbine engines and its components
The Job:
· Perform visual and dimensional inspection of engine components to identify damage or defects and to ensure conformance to standards and procedures.
· Use visual aids and precision measuring tools of various types to perform visual and dimensional inspection.
· Read work instructions to determine inspection criteria based on
· Determine the serviceability, repair ability and applicable work scope for the component.
· Record inspection results, generate inspection records and traveller to route parts for repair
· Ensure that all work are carried out meets quality requirements as per respective engine manual
· Be responsible for care and cleanliness of equipment and work station
· Interact with other departments and / or employees in matters concerning inspection to ensure acceptable product is produced
· Support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
· Model behaviors consistent with good quality, health and safety, and environmental management practices
· Job grade will be dependent on qualifications!
Requirements:
· GCE “N” or “O” Level / Nitec/ Higher Nitec / Diploma from a Technical discipline, Aerospace Engineering discipline or equivalent
· Minimum 3 years’ experience in engine workshop practices, maintenance and repair of gas turbine engine or aircraft engine component
· Ability to read and understand approved technical data in English
· Basic understanding of the relevant air worthiness and regulatory agencies requirement
· Meticulous attention to details
· Proficient in the use of visual aids and precision measuring tools.
· Understand applicable CMMs, Engine Manuals (EM), Service Bulletins (SB) & Airworthiness Directives (AD)
· Job grade will be dependent on experience and qualifications

Located at 100, Seletar Aerospace Park, we are an appointed Pratt & Whitney Canada Designated Overhaul Facility (DOF) to repair PW150A turboprop engines. Our engine center also has the capability to maintain, repair and overhaul Rolls Royce M250 Helicopter engines.
