Job Scope:
Program system logic: Use proprietary Edwards software (like SDU) to program how fire alarm panels respond to emergencies.
Configure and map devices: Assign digital addresses and network locations to all sensors, detectors, and modules in a building.
Set up graphical interfaces: Program software like FireWorks to show real-time emergency locations on building blueprints.
Perform system testing: Run diagnostics, troubleshoot programming bugs, and ensure the network communicates correctly.
Update firmware: Upload new software and system updates directly to the physical control panels.
Ensure code compliance: Verify that all programmed sequences meet local fire safety laws and project specifications.
Job Requirement:
