Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated intern to join the APAC Corporate Communications & Sustainability team. This internship offers hands-on exposure to regional communications across Asia Pacific, supporting both internal and external communication initiatives. Depending on business priorities and timing, the intern may contribute to a range of communications initiatives, from content development and stakeholder coordination to customer engagements, service launches, and events such as the CMA CGM APAC Townhall and CSR activities (e.g. World Cleanup Day and World Wetlands Day).
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can distil complex information into clear, engaging content, has a good visual sense, and is proactive in finding solutions independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Communications: Draft and edit content for internal and external communication channels, including internal engagement posts and social media content. Support content planning, scheduling, and publishing across various platforms.
- Creative & Digital Support: Create simple visual assets, presentation materials, and communication collateral to support campaigns and initiatives. Assist with graphic design needs using Canva or similar design tools.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with internal teams across the Asia Pacific region, as well as external vendors and partners, to gather information, coordinate requests, and support communication initiatives and projects.
- Event Support: Assist with the planning and execution of internal and external events, including registration management, venue setup, attendee support, event photography, and other on-site coordination duties.
- Media Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor media coverage, compile reports, support communication performance tracking, and identify opportunities to improve reporting formats and processes.
- Administrative Support: Assist with inventory management of corporate gifts, invoice processing, procurement coordination, document filing, and other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Basic graphic design skills using Canva or similar tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Meticulous, organised, and responsible
- Resourceful, fast learner, and able to work independently
- Basic video editing skills (e.g. subtitling and simple video cuts) are a bonus
- Preferred commitment: 6 months from August 2026 to January 2027 (duration, start date, and end date are negotiable)
