Business Analyst Intern

Key Responsibility Areas:
- Gather data, analyze business processes, and interpret data to support business operations.
- Monitor and swiftly respond to business operations and alerts, ensuring rapid resolution.
- Assist in documenting and categorizing with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Assist in analyzing trends to proactively identify and address recurring issues.
- Collaborate closely with team members and vendors to ensure requests are handled and resolved within timelines.
- Work with vendors and understand the solutions proposed and communicate to business.
- Assist in translating business needs into technical specifications
- Participate in meetings and contribute to discussions on project progress and business requirements.
- Support user roles management activities, ensuring access permissions align with organizational policies.
- Conduct periodic user access reviews to ensure compliance with security policies and access controls.
- Identify opportunities for automation on existing processes.
- Develop proof-of-concept solutions or recommendations for automation to improve efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on automation initiatives and outcomes.
Qualifications & Capabilities:
- Undergraduate with Bachelors in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Attention to detail and patience when dealing with various queries.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Proficient in documentation and reporting.
- Basic understanding of IT systems, networks, insurance process and principles.
- Hands on experience on tools like SNOW, Jira, Confluence, and Insurance software.
- Prior exposure to Insurance business process is advantageous.
- AI-Skills e.g. ChatGPT and Microsoft CoPilot an advantage.
