Job Responsibilities
Assist in coding and debugging of .NET-based web, mobile, or enterprise applications, including adding simple features and fixing bugs under supervision.
Support application development activities using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, APIs, and related Microsoft technologies as guided by senior developers.
Participate in various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement understanding, design support, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
Work with basic data and SQL by helping to retrieve, check, and organize simple datasets for application features, reports, troubleshooting, or analysis.
Support testing activities by helping to prepare test cases, perform unit or functional testing, document test results, and address issues identified during QA or UAT.
Document code changes, technical notes, troubleshooting steps, test results, and deployment-related information for future reference.
Follow internal coding standards, secure development practices, version control processes, and documentation guidelines as instructed by mentors.
Collaborate with team members to learn development processes, attend code walkthroughs, participate in discussions, and support ongoing project activities.
Job Requirements
Education & Certification
Higher NITEC, Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, or a related program.
Experience
No experience required as on the job training will be provided
Prior experience will be a bonus
Other prerequisites
Technical Skills: Basic programming knowledge with exposure to object-oriented programming concepts. Familiarity with C#, .NET, ASP.NET, .NET Core, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or similar technologies is preferred.
Data and SQL: Basic understanding of relational databases and simple SQL queries is preferred.
Tools: Exposure to Visual Studio, Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or similar development and version control tools is helpful but not mandatory.
Application Development Exposure: Any academic, internship, or personal project involving web applications, APIs, mobile applications, databases, dashboards, or enterprise systems will be an advantage.
Soft Skills: Willingness to learn, curiosity, basic problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and good teamwork and communication skills.
Exposure to low-code development platforms such as OutSystems, Power Apps, or basic cloud concepts will be beneficial.
