We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Intern to join our team and support our business growth initiatives.

As a Business Development Intern, you will work closely with the business development and management teams to identify new opportunities, research potential partners, support partnership activities, and contribute to the expansion of GBCI Ventures' ecosystem.

This internship provides hands-on experience in business development, partnership management, market research, and startup growth strategies. You will gain exposure to working with innovative technology products and international business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential business partners, clients, merchants, communities, influencers, and strategic collaboration opportunities.
  • Assist in generating and qualifying leads to support business expansion.
  • Support outreach activities and communication with potential partners.
  • Assist in preparing business proposals, presentations, partnership materials, and reports.
  • Maintain and update business development databases and tracking documents.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitors, and potential growth opportunities.
  • Assist in organizing business meetings, networking sessions, and partnership events.
  • Support partnership onboarding processes and ensure smooth coordination with internal teams.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to support business initiatives.
  • Prepare reports and provide insights on business development activities.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks related to business growth and strategic projects.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Communications, or related fields.
  • Strong interest in business development, partnerships, sales, and startup environments.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable communicating with external stakeholders and building relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proactive, curious, and willing to learn new skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) is preferred.
  • Experience with Canva, presentation design, market research, or basic data analysis is a plus.
