Project Manager

About the role

Presico Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team in the Jurong East West Region. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing construction projects from inception through completion. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects whilst ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is essential to our company's success, directly impacting client satisfaction and our reputation in the construction industry.

Key responsibilities

1. Plan, organise and oversee all aspects of assigned construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting and resource allocation

2. Manage project timelines and ensure adherence to deadlines whilst maintaining quality standards

3. Monitor project budgets, track expenses and manage cost control measures to ensure projects remain financially viable

4. Coordinate and communicate with clients, contractors, subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and progress

5. Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to verify compliance with specifications, safety regulations and industry standards

6. Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing corrective actions when necessary

7. Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, contracts and compliance records

8. Manage project teams, delegate tasks effectively and ensure adequate staffing on site

9. Ensure all health, safety and environmental regulations are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle

10. Handle contract negotiations and variations whilst ensuring project viability

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management

2. Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously

3. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, techniques and industry best practices

4. Excellent project planning, scheduling and budgeting skills

5. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications

6. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

7. Demonstrated leadership and team management experience

8. Knowledge of Singapore's Building and Construction Authority (BCA) regulations and safety standards

9. Problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work under pressure

10. Diploma or degree of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or related field, or equivalent professional qualification

11. Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent are advantageous
