Assistant Civil & Structural Manager
Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing a team of Structural coordinators and BIM Modellers in the design and coordination works;
Design, analysis and plan for Civil & Structural engineering works
Prepare design calculations, drawings and carry out Authority submissions
Responsible for timely submission of plans and reports to Consultant and Authorities
To coordinate & liaise with consultant, sub-con and other trades eg M&E and architectural for projects specifications & other technical issues
To assist in project coordination and oversee of all structural/Civil works on site and ensure all related activities are carried out as per drawings
Attend meetings inclusive technical meetings (not withstanding to minutes down the meeting if necessary) and site walks during the construction phase of project
Keep track of test reports, tests, ST, Green Mark scheme and constructability scheme
Document control and compilation accordance to company ISO standard
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering / Building
Good knowledge of Structural specifications & requirements
Min 5-8 years’ of relevant working experiences in main contractor companies or consultancy firm or large scale project
Strong in design concept, familiar with Eurocodes and local authorities submission.
Highly motivated and independent with excellent team spirit and communication skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills
