Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical / Sales Training &Performance Development Executive to drive sales excellence and workforce development across our organisation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering sales training programmes focused on both pre-sales and post-sales customer experience. In addition, the role will support the development of internal staff through coaching initiatives aimed at improving workplace culture, customer-centricity, productivity, and professional conduct.
Thecandidate may also be required to conduct technical training, e.g. NESS(National EV Specialist Safety) training programmes on weekends when assigned.
This role requires a highly motivated individual who is passionate about developing people, enhancing customer experiences, and driving business performance through effective training and coaching.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Training
Conduct technical training programmes, e.g. NESS, and assessments when assigned.
Support curriculum updates and compliance requirements.
Availability to work on weekends for scheduled training sessions.
Sales Training & Development
Design, source, develop and deliver sales training programmes for new and existing employees.
Conduct training on:
Customer engagement and relationship management.
Consultative selling techniques.
Pre-sales customer experience.
Post-sales customer experience.
Customer retention and loyalty.
Objection handling and negotiation skills.
Develop training materials, assessments, role plays and coaching guides.
Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend continuous improvements.
Work closely with management to align training initiatives with business objectives and sales targets.
Performance Coaching & Employee Development
Conduct coaching sessions to improve employee performance and workplace effectiveness.
Facilitate workshops on:
Professional communication
Customer service excellence
Workplace attitude and accountability
Teamwork and collaboration
Productivity and time management
Leadership and personal effectiveness
Identify performance gaps and recommend development plans.
Support managers in building positive workplace culture and employee engagement.
Training Operations
Maintain training records, attendance, assessments and evaluation reports.
Prepare monthly training schedules and development plans.
Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to improve programmes.
Liaise with internal departments and external partners where necessary.
Stakeholder Management
Communicate effectively with local and overseas stakeholders.
Liaise with China headquarters regarding training programmes, materials, product updates and operational matters.
Translate business requirements into practical training solutions.
Requirements
Education
Diplomaqualification in one of the following disciplines:
Business Administration
Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
Marketing
Sales Management
Customer Experience Management
Learning & Development
Job Requirements
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in engineering industry, sales, sales training, customer experience training, corporate training, or learning and development.
Experience in coaching employees and facilitating adult learning programmes.
Experience in customer service, retail, automotive, hospitality, banking, or related service industries will be advantageous.
Familiarity with training needs analysis, course design and performance coaching.
