Job Responsibilities
Assist in developing backend services using Java and Spring Boot
Support implementation of REST APIs and microservices architecture
Work on event-driven integrations using Kafka (basic exposure / learning)
Participate in various phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Assist in API integration, data transformation, and middleware flows
Support debugging, defect fixing, and troubleshooting activities
Contribute to technical documentation (API specs, design)
Work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams
Participate in code reviews and learning sessions
Job Requirements
Education & Certification
Diploma or degree in IT related courses
Applicant must be a full-time matriculated student
Experience
Handon development experience and can demonstrate strong understanding of fundamentals of requirements specification, design, coding, and testing of information systems
Experienced with the usage of Software design patterns
Some Experience In the usage of Java Spring boot, Camel.
Some Experience in using Confluent KAFKA.
Some Experience in the usages of RDBMS – MS SQL Server.
Some Experience in REST based APIs using JSON and web services
Experienced in using version control systems –Git, Github or ADO.
Other prerequisites
Applies well-defined and disciplined development, implementation, and production processes.
Proven & demonstrable hands-on experience in developing high-availability, multi-tiered and secure web applications
Good debugging and trouble shooting skills. Must have worked on IDEs – STS, IntelliJ, VSCode.
