Assistant Manager/Manager, Finance (Manufacturing)

The Company
We are partnering with a global high-tech manufacturing organization with operations across Asia to identify an experienced Assistant Manager/Manager, Finance to join its regional finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys driving process improvements, strengthening financial controls, and partnering closely with stakeholders across multiple countries.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in financial reporting, working capital management, cashflow forecast, intercompany management, transfer pricing, and treasury-related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Planning

  • Enhance consolidated and entity-level financial reporting packages to improve accuracy, consistency, and reporting timelines.
  • Take ownership of working capital and cash flow forecasting models, driving continuous improvements and business insights.
  • Partner with finance teams across regional entities to improve forecasting discipline and reporting visibility.
  • Support management reporting and financial planning activities to aid strategic decision-making.

Treasury & Banking Support

  • Support treasury initiatives including financing arrangements, foreign exchange hedging, and interest rate risk management activities.
  • Assist in managing banking relationships and evaluating financial instruments and solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of treasury processes as the function continues to evolve.

Intercompany & Transfer Pricing

  • Review intercompany transaction flows and identify root causes of unreconciled balances.
  • Develop reconciliation frameworks, standard operating procedures, and settlement processes to improve transparency and efficiency.
  • Support transfer pricing assessments and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with regional finance teams to strengthen governance around intercompany activities.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Assist in implementing financial and operational processes across regional entities.
  • Support the development, rollout, and enforcement of finance policies and internal controls.
  • Contribute to governance and risk management initiatives across the organization.

Your Profile

As the successful candidate, you will possess the following relevant skills sets and experience:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Qualified Accountant with CPA, CA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
  • Prior exposure in a Big 4 audit firm
  • 4-8 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, working capital management and cashflow forecasting
  • Strong financial modelling capabilities, particularly in cash flow and working capital forecasting.
  • Solid understanding of transfer pricing and intercompany accounting principles.
  • Exposure to treasury and risk management activities will be advantageous.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle or similar platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment and adapt to changing business priorities
