Senior/ Manager, Fire Safety (Healthcare Facilities)
What you'll be doing
Lead the planning and management of fire safety operations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, fire safety regulations and organisational policies
Oversee the Fire Safety team and service providers to maintain fire protection systems, minimise fire risks and ensure operational readiness
Manage fire safety contracts, preventive maintenance programmes and regulatory compliance for fire protection systems and infrastructure
Plan, coordinate and conduct fire drills, emergency exercises and evacuation programmes to strengthen organisational emergency preparedness
Deliver fire safety awareness, emergency response and CERT-related training to enhance staff readiness and compliance
Support the development, review and testing of emergency response plans, ensuring infrastructure and operational procedures remain effective during emergencies
Provide technical guidance on fire safety requirements for infrastructure projects, facilities management and operational initiatives
Partner with internal stakeholders, consultants and regulatory authorities on inspections, audits, investigations and fire safety compliance matters
Monitor fire safety risks, recommend mitigation measures and drive continuous improvements to strengthen operational resilience
Prepare reports, maintain documentation and support governance, compliance and emergency preparedness initiatives
What we're looking for
Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related studies
8 - 10 years of working experience in fire safety/ facilities management/ building services/ maintenance within complex environments
Valid SCDF-registered Fire Safety Manager (FSM) Certificate is required
Experience managing fire safety operations within healthcare, hospitals or other critical facilities will be highly advantageous
Strong knowledge of fire protection systems, emergency preparedness, WSH practices and relevant statutory regulations
Experience managing contractors, service providers and multidisciplinary stakeholders
Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders across all levels
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat
Organised, proactive and able to make sound decisions while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
