What’s the Job?
As a Cook, you will support the kitchen team in preparing and delivering high-quality dishes according to established recipes and standards. You will assist the chefs in maintaining food quality, hygiene standards, and efficient kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare food according to established recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards
Assist in the preparation, presentation, and storage of dishes
Ensure all food preparation complies with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
Prepare ingredients, equipment, and materials needed for service
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area
Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations
Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding operational issues or guest feedback
Participate in daily briefings, meetings, and training sessions
Follow hotel policies and procedures including health & safety, hygiene, and grooming standards
Assist with other kitchen duties or special tasks as assigned
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 1 year of relevant kitchen experience or formal culinary training
Possession of valid food hygiene / food handler certification
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Good teamwork and communication skills
Positive attitude with a passion for food and hospitality
