3D Spatial Design Intern (Exhibition Booth)

Key Responsibilities

1. 3D Design & Modelling

• Assist in developing 3D concepts for exhibition booths and event spaces

• Create 3D models based on design briefs and client requirements

• Support in producing layout plans and spatial arrangements

• Modify and refine designs based on feedback from senior designers

2. Visualisation & Rendering

• Assist in producing high-quality 3D renderings for client presentations

• Apply materials, lighting, and textures to enhance visual output

• Support in preparing presentation visuals and design boards

3. Design Development

• Translate creative concepts into practical and buildable designs

• Support in preparing basic technical drawings (layouts, elevations)

• Ensure designs align with production feasibility and site constraints

4. Project Support

• Work closely with designers, project managers, and production teams

• Assist in updating designs according to project requirements and timelines

• Support during project pitches and design presentations when needed

5. Research & Inspiration

• Research latest trends in exhibition, retail, and spatial design

• Gather references and inspiration for creative concepts

• Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions

Requirements

Education

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Spatial Design, or related field

Skills

• Basic knowledge of 3D design software (e.g. SketchUp, 3ds Max, Rhino, or similar)

• Familiarity with rendering tools (e.g. V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion is a plus)

• Basic understanding of spatial design and layout planning

• Creative mindset with strong visual sense

• Willingness to learn and take feedback

Bonus Skills (Good to Have)

• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator

• Understanding of materials and exhibition structures

• Experience with CAD drawings (AutoCAD or similar)

Internship Details

• Duration: 3–6 months
